Howard-Suamico School District
Referendum Updates

On April 3, 2018, voters approved the Howard-Suamico School District referendum question. Click here for a link to media coverage of the referendum press conference April 4. Planning is underway for referendum-related funding, including May interviews and hiring decisions for 22 teaching positions in grades K-12 that will directly impact class sizes. See updates below from the district Compensation Committee related to employee compensation plans. Facilities maintenance projects have been prioritized (see graphic below) and referendum resources will be supplemented with year-end dollars and designated fund balance in order to close the gap on project timelines following two years of deferred maintenance budget.
