Wisconsin Association of School Boards and HSSD honor Bellin Health and Prevea Health

The Wisconsin Association of School Boards Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Member school boards nominated businesses which have been helpful to their schools over the past year. Bellin Health and Prevea Health were recognized by WASB 2021 Business Honor Roll. 

Bellin Health and its certified athletic trainer team coordinated workplace walkthroughs at HSSD facilities as plans for safely reopening schools in the fall of 2020 took shape. The Bellin athletic training staff has played a key role in keeping our athletes safe and healthy during the pandemic. Additionally, Bellin leadership participated in virtual staff Q&A events and attended Board of Education meetings to provide perspective and input on operations related to COVID-19 mitigation and safety.

Prevea Health has been engaged and supportive health care partners for school districts throughout the greater Green Bay area during the pandemic. Specifically for HSSD, Prevea leaders participated in a Q&A video series for staff in the fall of 2020, and coordinated a student-led COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Bay Port High School in the spring of 2021 resulting in the vaccination of more than 100 participants.
