Taste of the Villages Raises More Than $100,000

Thank you for your support of the 15th Annual The Giving Tree Taste of the Villages and Auction. This year’s event raised more than $100,000, making it our most successful event to date. Your generous donations and sponsorships allow us to assist families in need right here in Howard and Suamico.

We are truly grateful to the many businesses and individuals who sponsored food and the event, donated auction items, made monetary donations, and participated in the auction. Your willingness to give allows The Giving Tree to continue to branch out, meeting the needs of hundreds of children within HSSD. 

These funds will go toward food, student/family assistance, school supplies, transportation, hygiene items, field trips, socks and underwear, the Holiday Store and The Back-to-School Event. Education is the most important factor in getting out of poverty. Filling in gaps of student needs throughout the year are what help a student have an education without barriers.
