Bay Port was proud to host The Complete Wrestler Camp from champion Eric Barnett and his team of clinicians in July 2023. Barnett is a three-time WIAA state wrestling champion and a two-time NCAA All-American for UW-Madison. The purpose of the camp was to grow Northeast Wisconsin wrestling while developing athletes both on and off the mat.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade were taught wrestling techniques and mindset training to improve both their athletic and academic lives. Participating athletes received a t-shirt and a copy of The 7 Crucibles book authored by Alec Ingold, Bay Port 2015 and current NFL fullback. Ingold participated in the camp as a guest speaker during the mindset training sessions.
