Pandemic-EBT Temporary Food Benefits
Wisconsin is issuing temporary food benefits, called Pandemic EBT (P-EBT), through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) for the school year 2020-21. P-EBT provides food assistance for students who would have received free or reduced-price school meals under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, but were unable to receive these meals at school because the school was closed, operating virtually, or was operating with reduced attendance hours.
See below for P-EBT updates as we enter summer 2021 and the 2021-22 school year. In order to participate in P-EBT moving forward, you must apply for Free and Reduced School Meals.
- Summer 2021
- The state is participating in the Summer 2021 P-EBT benefits for families who have qualified for free and reduced-priced meals prior to the last day of the 2020-21 school year.
