What is Leadership HSSD?
To help build capacity throughout our school community, Howard-Suamico Education Foundation (HSEF) is sponsoring Leadership HSSD, co-chaired by HSEF President, Bill Hawker, and Howard-Suamico School District (HSSD) Superintendent, Damian LaCroix.
Simply put, leadership is the skill of influencing people to work enthusiastically toward goals identified as being for the common good (James Hunter). Leadership HSSD is a program designed to provide select community members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of our district’s mission and strategic priorities.
The program is especially beneficial for those who want to obtain a foundational understanding in district operations, leadership principles, governance, and become more active participants in our schools.
Participants are asked to commit to completing the full nine-month program.
Apply to become part of the Leadership HSSD Class of 2022-23 below. Application deadline is June 30, 2022.
