Leadership HSSD

What is Leadership HSSD?

Leadership HSSD is a program designed to provide select community members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of our district’s mission and strategic priorities. The program is especially beneficial for those who want to gain a foundational understanding in:

District operations
Leadership principles
Governance
Participation in HSSD schools

Participants are asked to commit to completing the full nine-month program.

To help build capacity throughout our school community, the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation (HSEF) sponsors Leadership HSSD and is co-chaired by HSEF President Brian Stuelpner and HSSD Superintendent Mark Smith.

Simply put, "A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential" (Brené Brown).

All meetings take place once a month from 7:30-9 a.m.
